Last week Blake finally got to use his gun! Well not shoot it but he pulled it out and pointed it at someone! They were called out for a burglary in progress. Some doped up guy was looking through someones garage and when Blake got there he was still there. They flashed the spotlight on him and he tried to hide under the car. Blake ran into the garage and had his gun out and told the guy to come out with his hands where he could see them. The guy tried to say he was looking for his dog. RIGHT!
Last night Blake ended up working 14 hours. from 7:30pm-9:30am. They ended up taking a call at 5 am for a DWI. A call came in for a suspicious car in the grass. A guy was in the grass, half parking lot with his car up against a fence. They walked up to the car and he was past out on the steering wheel and his car was still in drive. They said he must have been leaving his apartment because he was 4x the legal limit and couldn't have made it home that drunk. Blake said he was drooling and they had to shake the crap out of him to wake up. Once they got him to wake up Blake performed the sobriety test on him and cuffed him and put in the back of the car. He said he had to ask him a few questions to get more info and they guy was crying like a big baby. He said after asking him a question the guy finally realized he was past out in his car. Blake also said that when they took him to the jail they had to take his belt away and his pants were to big and so he was holding them up and crying. I can only imagine having to deal with these idiots everyday.
Those of you that do drink, PLEASE do it responsibly. You look much cooler if you call someone to drive you home than you would dead or in jail. Plus if you don't drink and drive that means my husband gets off on time!
