We have been keeping busy since Thursday! Blake got lucky and has SIX days off! Yahoo...Party time! I decided we should take advantage of this break and get out of the house and have some fun. Since we had no clue he would have that many days off we couldn't plan a mini vacation. Instead we took advantage of all the fun stuff going on this weekend around our town! It also happens to be Earth Day weekend so lots of fun outdoor things to do!
On Thursday we headed to downtown fort worth for the Main Street Arts Festival. We enjoyed looking at some crazy expensive art and jewelry. The weather was nice and best of all I was with my favorite boys and my favorite pals! They had a small area for kids to create their own art. Parker decorated a tile, artist in the making!

Friday we spend the morning at Homestead Farms. It's a local farm in Keller that grows their own vegetables and milks goats. I wanted to try the goats milk but never got around to it. That just means we will be going back. This was my first time to actually visit the farm but Ive bought a few things from the Keller Farmers market that they grow. Friday there was a high chance for rain and I am so glad we got there when we did, it started to rain after about 40 minutes of playtime. We were able to enjoy all the animals, attempted to plant a seed (Parker just wanted to play in the dirt), and played on the tractor! The tractor was Parker's favorite part, he threw one heck of fit when we made him get down so someone else could have a turn.

Once it started raining we headed into the Farm store and bought some tamales, fresh yellow squash, and sweet potatoes. We headed home and had a yummy lunch! Perfect lunch for Blake's 29th Birthday! We didn't plan anything special because once again we had no clue what his schedule would be SO... later that night we had dinner with Grandma Sandy and snuggled on the couch after Parker went to bed and watched a movie. Nice and relaxing! Thanks Grandma Sandy for dinner!

| Happy Birthday Daddy, you are so fun! |
and Today...yes the fun never stops! We drove out to grapevine to the Founders' plaza to watch the airplanes take off from the DFW airport. Parker has really taken a liking to planes except for today. Of course! My dad was able to enjoy the morning with us and that makes Parker happy! He loves his grandpa!

the sun was in his eyes but the first plane he saw
he shouted "WOW" |
 |
| he was more excited about the rock than the planes |
 |
he was also more interested in chasing
butterflies and playing with the flowers. |
chase me grandpa...catch me if you can!
I love my family, thanks for making this such a fun weekend! I think the party is over and the next few days we will just enjoy each others company and stay home and relax!
