Parker sits up!

Parker can sit up on his own! YAY what a big boy! happy accident...I sat him in front of mirror and let go and he didn't topple over. My baby is growing up so fast...tear.

4 Months old!

Parker is now 4 months old...what a big boy! He is doing so much more now and we are having a blast with him. He has realized he is in control of his hands, he plays with them and tries to grab everything. He now pulls his pacifier out of his month and kind of puts it back in and hold onto his toys really well. He has started giggling and its so cute to hear his little laugh. He is very ticklish just like his daddy! Oh my favorite thing he does...he greets us with a great big smile when we get home if we have been away from him. He is just so stinking cute.

This past week he has had a cold and a cough...I guess there is a first time for everything. I have been eating as much garlic and taking vatamin c in hopes that it passes through my breastmilk so he can fight it off. I drank a really nasty drink today that someone recommended....apple cider vinager, minced garlic, cheyenne pepper and honey. We shall see if it helps.

The weather is finally nice so I have taken him on several walks with his Aunt Rachel and Cousin Devin. It's so nice to spend time with them and we are looking forward to our boys becoming best buds!

What a mess

Well the bad weather we had  the first week of February has caused me to be off work for awhile. While I was enjoying being off I got bad news from a co-worker that a pipe had burst and flooded the whole office. Our pipes are in the ceiling so needless to say we are missing half of our ceiling too. All of our computers are ruined b.c they were on the floor with ankle deep water...nice huh? I guess the way my boss found out about the flood was someone left a message on our answering maching saying he was standing outside our building and water was just pouring out of the door.

My boss finally got a computer up and running so I could log in and work from home since I have no desk at work. I got one good day of work in before it iced/snowed again and now the computer is down again. I am sad about the office but I have REALLY been enjoying my time at home with Parker.

Let is snow...

Big storm for Texas rolled in...this is the aftermath. Schools closed for 4 days straight. When we were in school they never closed...man have the times changed. I wish Parker was older so we could play in the snow. Today is the first day its actually snow all the other days it was just ice.

This weather has caused my work office to close. We think a pipe burst and so now its full of water up to your ankles and the roof caved in. Wonder what will happen...I guess I wont be working anytime soon.
