Meet the Family!

On May 29th we got the family together for some pictures. It also happened to be our 6 year anniversary and I couldn't have asked for anything better!

My dear friend Brandon Hayman took our pictures. Brandon and I go way back, we use to work at Picture People together and have kept in contact ever since. He shot mine and Blake's first pictures together, our wedding, maternity, Parker's first pictures and now these! We love him!

In these pictures Parker had just turned 7 months old. Sorry I didn't post them sooner I had to keep them a secret!

Congrats Blakey Boy!

We are so proud of Blake for being accepted into the Fort Worth Police Academy! This has been a long year of waiting for us, but it paid off. Last August Blake took a chance and started the application process for the Academy. The Fort Worth Police Academy is known to be one of the harder Academy's to get into. And YES my awesome husband did it! They waited until the very last minute to let us know if he was accepted, and that same day we heard we had pretty much figured he didn't get in. Shame on us for loosing faith.

Blake has been such a wonderful husband and father and he TOTALLY deserves this! I am so blessed to have a husband who works so hard to make sure all of our needs are met and will do anything to better our family. Blake we love you and we are so proud of you. We know you will do a great job and make the Fort Worth Police Department very proud!

After he received the call of acceptance! 6/20/2011

 Congrats Blake!

 New cop sunglasses...Thanks Elliott Family!

Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of host, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

8 Months Old

I know your thinking really is he already 8 months old? Yes, 8 months ago today I was blessed with my sweet adorable son!

He has started pulling up on everything and is out of control! He is doing something new everyday. He now has started making a fish face, could he be any cuter! he is also sucking on his top lip, strange.
Today I went in his room to get him from his nap and he was standing up in his crib. Yikes! I already lowered his crib down to the lowest setting so he doesn't climb out. If he is anything like I was when I was a baby he will be crawling out of the crib in no time.

Short post so enjoy the pictures!

Having fun!

Mid-month post! Just a few pictures and videos I couldn't wait to share, plus both boys are asleep and I have some free time! I don't get that often.

Well Parker is getting better at pulling himself up on the furniture, not sure if I am completely happy about it. I am proud of him though! Video at the bottom and my camera stinks so its not a great recording and its sideways, I don't know how to rotate it. 2nd video is Parker's first experience with bubbles, takes him a while to warm up to them. Long video...sorry.

NRH2o

Fun in the sun! This summer I bought a season pass to NRH2o so that we have something fun to do with our friends. Plus I want Parker to love the water and he does!

So far we have gone twice already. We stay in the kid area and usually stay no more than an hour or so. He gets pretty wiped out. When we leave he usually falls asleep within the first two minutes of driving and when I take him out of the car I have to fight the puddle of drool on his buckles! EXHAUSTED!

we like to sit next to the these little fountain things that shoot out from the ground. He sticks his hand and face in them, the water doesn't seem to b other him.

On a separate note...Parker pulled him self up with the help of a box at our friends house Sunday night. Also I have been teaching him how to sign and I think he is starting to sign milk if not is sure does look like it. He also kind of waves when we wave at him. Hes growing up to fast but its sooooo fun!
