I dropped the ball and didn't write up an 8 month post for Jenna. Mommy fail. Two kids is keeping me super busy!
Jenna started crawling the end of August, just in time for our Corpus Christi mini vacation. crawling and sand do not mix! She started out just inching around and wouldn't really leave the living room. That last maybe two weeks until she ventured into the kitchen. Fast forward to today and she is EVERYWHERE! She follows me to the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and front door. She also crawls over to me and is pulling at my legs and begging to be held.

She is now pulling up on everything like a pro! At first she only pulled up on her knees. It was so cute. When she woke up from her naps she would be on her knees trying to look over her bed rail. Her first time to stand all the way up if I remember correctly was in the middle of the night. Now she is always standing up when I go into get her.

Jenna is saying mamma, dada, and baba which we like to say she is saying bubba. Sometimes it sounds like she is saying brother but she isn't of course! She just started saying dada about a week ago, and daddy is happy! She has him wrapped around his fingers so tight. She loves to wave at everyone. Blake thinks she says bye and she could be since is does sound like it. When we leave the room she will start waving. I have started to teach her to blow kisses, she is starting to get it down. She is so cute, we just love her so much!
She is a very busy little girl. Now that she has become mobile I can't take my eyes off her. She puts everything into her mouth, and has hawk eyes. She finds stuff that I would never have seen if it wasn't for her. If we are in the living room and we are not in there with her, she makes a mad dash for the fireplace. By the time we get to her she has soot all over her little hands. We are going to buy the glass doors but they are so expensive, 250+. When Parker is out back playing and sees the door open she crawls as fast as she can in hopes to join him. I let her play out there all the time, but I have to watch her really close because she will eat dead bugs and grass. I don't mind sitting out there every now and then but I can't wait until she is a little older and her and Parker can really play! She loves to play with his water buckets he has out there, she loves anything with water! It rained one day and she had a blast playing in the rain. Parker was having so much fun so I figured since she wanted to play might as well strip her down and let her enjoy it too. She loved it!
