Happy 50th B-day Mommy Sandy!

All the ladies met at the Gaylord Texan River walk restaurant to Surprise my Mother-n-law for her 50Th birthday. No one spilled the beans so she was very surprised. To bad none of us took a picture of her when she saw us. We enjoyed the show and buffet and ate way to much as usual.

IT'S A BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had my 20 week (5 month) Dr's appt yesterday. No sono from my doctors office since my insurance only pays for the 1st one. I hate insurance...no wonder I like my job I get to yell at them everyday. Well at first my day was not so great because I was going to have to pay $300 to have another sonogram with my doctor, so I went home and called my insurance to just double check my benefits. The first person I spoke to said its covered you shouldn't pay for it we will cover it and the second person I spoke to said only the first one is covered unless something is wrong and the doctor felt it was mn. Well I didn't want to risk it not being covered so with the help of one of my friends we found a place to go that was more than half of what it would be at my doctors office. Instead of waiting another 4 weeks to find out I only had to wait 4 hours!

I got home from the gym showered and Blake and I picked up my mom and we got to see our baby boy!!!! The pictures tell all, no doubt its a boy. Lets just say Blake is proud!

We did get some 3D pictures but since I am only 20 weeks Evan still looks like a cute little skeleton but we still already super love him!

Sorry Mom, Sandy and Karen for not having a girl. Maybe next time! My sister in law is also expecting her 2nd and we are all pulling for her to have a girl. keep your fingers crossed!

So very quickly my 20 week update. I feel great so far its been hot but not to bad yet. I have woken up with some leg cramps but I am going to start taking a calcium supplement to hopefully help that. I have gained another 8 pounds that puts me up to 16 total. I feel like a lard but well worth it! I swear you can see it in my face but I have such good friends who say you cant. That's why I love them! I have a cute little belly bulge and the baby kicks all the time in my ribs. So far Blake hasn't felt the baby kick but my friend Alycia and Cassie have. Lucky girls...should have known it was a boy. Loves the ladies already.

Go Texas Rangers!

Blake and I went to the Rangers game last night with our friends Nick and Alycia. We to see the Rangers sweep the Pirates and win our 11Th straight game! wahoo Rangers! We had a great time eating ballpark nachos, corn dogs,hot dogs and fries...yum oh and we cant forget the ice cream nick forced us to eat! This is only the 2nd game of many our baby boy Evan will get to experience!

Girls just want to have fun!

The three of us have had many girls nights thanks to Nick! (Alycia's hubby) When Nicks out of town or doing something for scouts we take over the town. Last night was a night of shopping,food and more food.

Surprise Arizona here we come

We flew to Arizona to see Blake's best friend Burke and his wife Brianne. It was a surprise so they had no clue we would be joining them for dinner on Friday. Brianne is also expecting her first baby so we are always emailing back and forth. One main reason for us going was so I could go to her baby shower since when she has her baby in August I can't fly. We figured this was a good chance for us to enjoy being able to pick up and go. It's so cool to have close friends going through all the same things we are.

Burke's parents knew the whole time we would be there so they picked us up from the airport and had a little surprise for Blake. Last November we flew to AZ over Thanksgiving and Blake spotted a motorcycle and Doug (Burke's dad) was teaching Blake how to drive it. So when they pulled up at the airport to get us they had a shinny red motorcycle in the back of the truck for Blake to drive around. Super fun.

I was able to hangout with Burke's family and help prepare the food for the shower and all that fun girl stuff while the boys played golf . Brianne got tons of stuff for her shower....I can't wait to have my shower! We watched movies and watched the boys play video games all and all we had a great time.

And out of all the pictures taken not a single one of Brianne and I. bummer. We both looked super cute with our baby bumps too!

Sunday was not fun, we had to cut our trip short and go to airport so we could get home by Monday. We spend like 5 hours in New Mexico at the airport trying to get on a flight. We finally got one at around 8:30 and got home at 12:15 pm. Late night.

The Hansen Wedding

We were invited to our friends wedding in Austin TX back in May and the pics are in. They had a small wedding for family and close friends. We felt very special that they included us to celebrate with them. Brad is an old friend of Blake's from middles school. They were dorks and played computer games all day...boys. We drove up with another of Blake's old friends Michael Cestarte. The wedding was held at the Horseshoe Bay Resort just near Austin and it felt like it took much longer than 3 1/2 hours to get there. We missed our turn maybe two times but it was fun just talking the whole time catching up on the new and reminiscing on the past.
