Last night Parker feel asleep at 6:30 so Blake and I decided we should take advantage and take a nap. You sleep when you can...give us a break! Blake of course can fall asleep so easy, me on the other hand I was up thinking about anything and everything. Around 7:20 our door bell rings, I had to wake Blake up to go see who it was. By the time he let the dogs out and looked out the peep hole no one was there. He came back to say no one was there. I asked him to check the porch for a package. He opens the front door and found an envelope...he is slowly walking down hallway opening it and stops at our bedroom door and says someone left us a letter and $200.00 cash.
I have no clue who did this or why they felt we needed it. I feel bad there are so many other people out there who could use this more than us. Who ever gave us this money THANK YOU. We are truly blessed to have such caring and generous people in our lives. I stand all amazed...Thanks

Note to self...
Reminder: Don't eat Broccoli cheese soup it will give Parker massive poop that smells like rotten eggs.
My dear friend Amanda invited me over for lunch and I accepted! She feed me leftover broccoli cheese soup that was very good. Parker is breastfeed and everything I eat he eats. Well his little tummy didn't like the broccoli cheese soup because his bowels were disgusting and smelled like rotten eggs the rest of the night. The worst one was his massive blow out this morning. There was poop gushing out of his diaper all over his outfit, blanket, changing table cover, and his mommy.
Dear Parker please no more massive blow outs today!
Parker's current activity...he is just chilling in his bouncy seat, happy as can be. I would be happy too if I just had a massive poo!

Parkers First Adjustment
After a few days of a fussy baby I started to think he may have gas. I called Dr. Brodows and Dr. Rizkal and let them know how Parker had been acting. He was always wanting to eat and would just start screaming 5-10 minutes after eating. I took him up to work to get adjusted and right away she could tell he was out of whack. Dr B adjusted him and he he did so good. He didn't cry or even flinch. What a trooper!
After his first adjustment he joined us in our work holiday picture, that he just slept for. He had a busy day because after that we all went to eat a Mooyah Burgers...yum turkey burger! It was nice to get out, I needed it.

Due Date...
Today is my actual due date and I still can't believe Parker came 2 weeks early. I had planned on being pregnant for a whole month longer. Don't get me wrong I am really glad he came early!
We are slowly getting adjusted to having a baby in the house. I really miss my sleep. Parker likes to be wide awake around 2-4 in the morning. The past two days he has been better, he is eating and then going right back to sleep. My mom came over a few nights to stay up with him so I could catch up on much needed sleep.
Today I took Parker to see his Pediatrician Dr Benzick for the first time. There was really no reason for me to take him since he isn't sick but I wanted to make sure we didn't miss out on our new patient time frame. Now anytime Parker is sick we have someone to take him to.
Besides always being tired, changing diapers and feeding Parker we are all doing wonderful! We wouldn't change anything and we are so very thankful for our wonderful bundle of joy!
Time to back up...Before I went into labor I helped throw Rachel a baby shower. I have some pictures of Rachel and I that I never got to share. I am really glad we took all those pictures because two days later my cute big belly was gone. Now we are just waiting to baby Devin to get here!

Parker update
Tomorrow Parker will be 2 weeks old. I can't believe how quickly time has gone since he arrived. We still haven't even had the chance to let the fact that we are now parents sink in! OK well when your not getting sleep it sinks in!
Friday November 5,2010 we took Parker to see Donnellynn for his two week check up. He had only gained 3 ounces of the 5 he lost back. I have been feeding him about every hour so hopefully he gains the rest back soon. Everything else looked and sounded good. He is really good at sleeping during the day and really likes to stay awake at night. It's killing me! I have a hard time napping during the day and its getting to me. I had to start using Maxi milk as a supplement to help produce more milk. I am also on strict instructions to get lots of rest so I can maintain my milk supply. After a good day of rest I am producing more milk. He is still a little jaundice so I still have to give him sun baths for 2 hours a day. we just lay in front of a window and take a nap. He likes it!
Yesterday he had a tummy ache or something he didn't sleep and was fussy all day. Finally at around 10:30 he really let one out and he then was able to get some sleep. He slept for about 6 hours trying to catch up on all the sleep he didn't get during the day. I probably should have woke him up after about 4 to feed him but I didn't wake up either. I woke up and changed his diaper and feed him and he went right back to sleep. After a short nap and another feeding we ventured out today. We went to Grandma and Grandpa Gonzalez's house. He sleep the whole time we were there and the whole time we were at the grocery store. We love our sweet little Parker! He is going to be such a good little boy...we hope!
Enjoy some pictures from the past two weeks.
