We have almost lived in our home a month, not long but we absolutely love it! Maybe we love it because we didn't have a home for 4 months but I am pretty sure that's not it! We have great neighbors, one is actually a retired fireman and now is a blue mound police officer...funny now we have two cops on our street! Our other neighbors across the street are our age and have three beautiful little girls. Parker is already buddies with them.
We have all of our boxes un-packed but not everything is hung on the walls. We still have tons of stuff to do, like buy curtains so that the sound has somewhere to land. I need to make a trip to the fabric store and get to sewing.
We had our first family get together on Easter Sunday. It was so nice because for the first time as a home owner, I didn't feel claustrophobic in my own home! At one point everyone was in our kitchen and we had plenty of room.
