Blake took off for Easter and his birthday to spend time with the family. We started our Sunday off with going to church. It was all of our first times to make it to sacrament for the year. I know, I Know we need to try harder to go more often.
The night before my mom and dad came over to color eggs with Parker. He had a blast!
We had lunch over at my parents home and this year the Easter bunny delivered the kids baskets there. Both kids got lots of goodies. Since Parker is the only kid on my side of the family old enough to hunt for eggs he had a blast. He made my mom and dad re-hide them so he could keep finding them.
He was so excited when he saw his basket! and He loves his ninja turtle.

Blake's family came over for dinner. We had plans to go the park but it ended up raining. We grilled hamburgers and hotdogs. We hid the eggs right when everyone got here so the kids could find them before the rain hit. As soon as we walked in it started raining. Parker wasn't the only kid this time, he had to compete against Niko and Ashley. His older cousins were pretty sweet and let him have plenty of eggs.
its a good thing all the kids weren't there because it was hard enough to get these three looking at the camera! We did miss Ethan and Devin thought.
parker got upset once the big kids took off for the eggs because they were faster than him.
We had a great Easter and we were very thankful Blake was able to take off and spend time with us.
