Parker's baby blessing

At our church (Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints) we baptize our children when they are eight years old. While they are babies their fathers give them a blessing for many great things. Blake did a wonderful job today!

I don't think we are suppose to record it but my friend Aycia did. She typed it up for us to THANKS!

Our most gracious Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, and by the authority of the Melchizedek Priesthood which we hold, we take this baby into our arms, and give him a blessing and a name that he shall be known as throughout his life as Parker Kenneth Jenkins. Parker, your Heavenly Father loves you and is proud of you and the decision that you made to come to earth at a time when the gospel is at its fullest. Parker, we bless you that you will continue to grow healthy and strong and that as you grow, that you will be a light and example to all your friends and family and those around you. Parker we bless you that you will be able to follow the gospel and live the commandments and make the right choices throughout your life. We bless you that as you grow you will serve the Lord as well as others and those in need. Parker, as you grow, one day you will be able to find a wife of your own, and we bless you that when that day comes, that you will be able to find a righteous wife and be able to have kids of your own. Parker, as you go through your life you will have trials and tribulations and we bless you that you will be able to get through them using the scriptures, as well as prayer. Parker, your father and mother love you very much and we seal these blessings upon you and any others that your Heavenly Father would have you receive at this time in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
