Jenna is 13 months old

Happy 13 months to Jenna! I should have thrown her a birthday party on February 10th since she didn't get a birthday party when she turned a year due to being sick. I am happy to report that we all well now. It was a brutal few weeks of fighting sickness after sickness.

The day before Jenna turned 13 months old she decided it was time to take the plunge and start walking. She had taken a few steps here and there but never really cared much to walk. February 9th happened to be a beautiful day outside so it was only appropriate that she really start walking that day. Parker was outside when he started really walking too. Being outside and in the sun makes me want to just get up and go too!

At 13 months Jenna can shake her head yes, and no. She can sign "please" the best, she also signs "more" but is lazy and just goes straight for signing "please". Sometimes she just mixes them both together and it looks like she is rolling dough. Its awfully cute! She can actually say "Hi", bubba, mamma, Dada, and yes. She always rambles "atago", we have no clue what she is trying to say.

She is a climber! She climbs onto anything she can climb onto. It all started with the picnic table outback. One second she was standing next to it and the next she is on top of it with a huge grin on her face. She can climb into Parkers camping chair, fireplaces if they are raised, Parkers bed, and is currently working really hard to climb on the couches.

She loves to pull out everything from the cabinets. Our rice cooker is always taken apart and all over the kitchen floor, along with our strainers. I though putting a toy kitchen in the kitchen would help distract her but it doesn't! She will play with it for a few minutes, and by play I mean she throws all her toy dishes all over the kitchen floor and then moves on!

She has two new teeth so she has a total of 8 teeth now! Her hair is almost long enough for a pony tail. I can put it in pig tails but they are super short and fall right out.

I never got to post the kids stats from their DR's appointee last month. They are both healthy growing kids! Parker is 38" tall and Jenna is 30" tall. She is catching up! She weighed 19 pounds and Parker weighed 34. he finally gained some weight, it all in his Buddha belly! Parker recently had his first dentist appointment and he did great! No cavities!

I am so happy these two love each other!

Happy New Year!

Happy 2012!

this video isn't from New Years but I had to post it

We didn't do anything exciting to welcome the New Year. We hung out at our home with our friends from church, The Newman's. We just made some snacks and played games. We played our Kinect, and almost all adults had  go at it before Hannah and Rachel took over. Our night ended at 8:30. Yup, we are BORING!

We got a hair cut today! I think I am getting better.

Let me move on to Parker! There is always something exciting going on with that kid!

Let me back up to December 29th, the day I declared Parker as WALKING! Yay for Parker. He started standing up on his own or at least for the first time that I saw. He was a walking maniac that day and he has been going strong since then.

Back to the New Year, well 3 days into the new year I got a nice surprise in Parker's diaper. First let me say...We hung out with our cousins Heather, Roger, and Niko on the 2nd at their house. Niko is almost 7 so he has a ton of toys that are not Parker approved! I guess Parker was eating Nikos toys because when I changed his diaper I found a battleship piece. surprise! We have a vacuum on our hands. If you house needs cleaning you know who to call!

I am really excited to see what 2012 bring us! We had a pretty great 2011, even with its ups and downs! I am really excited about Blake graduation in a little over a month! He is doing so good at the Academy! I love my boys very much!

Enjoy a few pictures!

This is one of my favorite pictures. I am so sad is a bit blurry.

silly boys sitting on his daddy's face...he didn't want to go to bed

this is the train my parents bought him for Christmas. His favorite gift so far.

He loves reading!
