28 months old

Parker update!
Blake playing with Parker and Wyatt at the park

having fun at the mall

This past month he has really stated saying more full sentences. He has learned to stick up for himself, but also finds himself in time out a lot! He has decided that sitting on the potty is ok again, but only when he wants to. Once we move into our own home and are settled we are hitting this potty training thing again full force.
Aunt Karen taught me how to roll my tongue

He loves playing with "older kids", we spend a weekend in Denton with Heather, Roger, and Niko (7 yrs), and they boys played their little hearts out. Now Parker is all about light sabres and guns. typical boy! He is still very much into cars, trains, and planes. Its so fun to watch him play now, every thing flys or crashes. His sound effects are the best!
pretending to shoot cousin Niko.

daddy was going potty and Parker opened the door to pretend shoot him

Parker doesn't watch a lot of movies but the house we are staying in has a media room with BIG screen, so every now and then Parker will say " I want to watch a movie". He never last longer than 25 minutes. He usually ask to watch a movie at random times...pretty funny!
look at that belly

Since we are currently homeless we are living with some friends from church,The Nuttalls. They have two kids, Olivia and Eli. It has been a battle for all of us to figure out the right way to handle them fighting over toys. usually someone ends up crying or being pushed because a toy has been taken away or someone is teasing someone. He has picked up the phrase "stop pushing me". He does say it if someone pushes him but one time while I was helping my friends sister out with her kids one of the kids reclined the car and it knocked Parker over. He thought he had been pushed, it was so funny to see him get all defensive and yell "stop pushing me"! I guess I need to work with him about saying please after he yells stops pushing me.
We had a fun Mardi Gras party. and we took "fat Tuesday" to a whole new level!

Thanks Alycia for all the fun Diego toys. He loves Diego

This kid can eat...only at breakfast time. He seems to only really want to eat early in the day. He can eat two whole servings of oatmeal, then about an hour later he will want more food. he eats non stop until about lunch time. Where does it go?!
